a statement in which he issued an apology to u.s. president barack obama and the american people for the attack on the embassy today, saying this was unacceptable and ordered yemeni security forces to launch an investigation and prosecute anybody they found involved in this to the full extent of the law. this was quite worrying today. for one reason, the u.s. embassy compound in sanaa is one of the most protected sites. not just in the city of s aanaa, the capital of yemen, but practically in all of the country of yemen. i've been to yemen several times, been to sanaa several times. i've been to the u.s. embassy. this site is not easily accessible to anybody. i spoke to activists in sanaa who said they were watching what was going on from rooftops of nearby buildings. they say they were absolutely shocked that this crowd, marching toward the embassy, was able to get as close as they did to the main gate and then that they were actually able to breach the compound. they were flabbergasted by this. they can't understand how yemen security could allow this to happen. in the ensuing

. we voted 32 times to repeal obamacare. obama does care more than i can say for some. we had time for voting to repeal obamacare 32 times, but didn't have any time to offer serious fixes to the economy. and i just want to mention that president obama, to his credit, has done, i think great and excellent work in offering solutions. they simply have been ignored. it's really kind of sad when you think about the fact that the president has offered real serious and important solutions to the problems of the nation and yet they really have not been seriously addressed. for example, the president called us all here and talked about the american jobs act. this is a great piece of legislation. but you know, mr. speaker, we never even had a vote on it. we never even had an opportunity to say who wants the american jobs act. it was simply something that the republican majority in the house wouldn't even address. the fact is, there were great ideas in this bill. and i want to talk about those ideas, because i think they would really do a lot of good. it includes a national infrastructure, a

the one i'd seen because the title was "obama votes against israel". this is an article dated may 29, 2010. and it points out in the article that the white house sided with israel's enemies, something that this nation didn't normally do, and basically demanding that israel disclose all their nukes. well, those who study the bible, biblical history, may recall that king hezekiah was a very good king in israel and things went pretty well but isiah was sent to confront hezekiah about what he had done with visiters who had come from babylon. and god knew what had been done but isiah asked and hezekiah explained and this is the new paraphrase version, but in essence he said, you know, all these wonderful leaders came over from babylon, so i showed them all of our treasure and if you get into the strict interpretations, translation, he basically says, i showed them our armory, all of our defenses. and isiah points out, you fool, you're going to lose the country because you've done this. no matter what point in history you are, when a nation shows all its defenses to its enemies that information

"the new york times" reported in 2011, "ryan appealed to representative cantor to cut off negotiations between the speaker and the white house because he didn't feel the terms of the emerging agreement adhered strictly enough to his conservative principles and the deal might politically benefit president obama." so, it is not a secret that the ryan budget both hurts the middle class and does nothing for deficit reduction. the only people who would benefit are the very wealthy, and god bless them. they're doing well in america, but as recent statistics just showed, they're the only people gaining income. and one other thing i'd like to add about mr. ryan here: he seems like a nice man, nice family, but his recent speeches have just been so revealing, and he did the same thing yesterday once again showing he has learned nothing from the mistakes he's made in the last few weeks. when it comes to the big debates facing our country, paul ryan either has an extremely poor memory or has a tendency to play fast
